Chelsea Gardens Barber Shop ("we," "us") at 253 W 23rd St, New York, NY 10011 runs this website to tell you about the shop and help you book a chair. We keep things simple — here is exactly what happens with your information.
Almost nothing. This site has no accounts, no contact forms, and sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. You can read every page without giving us any personal information.
Online booking is handled by Setmore, a scheduling service. When you book, the details you enter — your name, contact information, and appointment — go to Setmore under Setmore's privacy policy, and we see them so we can be ready for your appointment. We use them for your appointment and nothing else.
If you call the shop or reach us on Instagram, whatever you share is used to help you and handle your appointment — nothing more. We do not sell your information or add you to marketing lists.
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google; Google's privacy policy applies to that request. Links to Instagram, Setmore, and Google Maps take you to those services, which have their own policies.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. (Kids' haircuts happen in the chair, with a grown-up.)
